Saputo criticizes supply management system, sides with U.S.

In one of the few Trump truths the President of the United States claims a 350% tariff on Canadian dairy products. Sadly, that isn't a lie. Canada matches dairy production to domestic consumption, yielding less than 10 percent of the market to imports. Above quotas, imported dairy faces tariffs of up to 314 percent. Canadians pay some of the highest prices for milk products in the world.
